V Kazakh language kurultay to convene Sept 22

TANA. September 21. KAZINFORM The V Kazakh Tili (Kazakh language) Kurultay will take place on September 22 in Kokshetau as a part of the celebrations of the 20th anniversary of the country's independence. The event, organized wth the support of the Culture Ministry, opens the XIII republican festival of languages of the people of Kazakhstan, the international society's press service reports. It will bring above 200 participants together.
The kurultay will let analyze development of the state language in the country, determine priorities and prospects, and bring up new proposals how to widen the scope of Kazakh language application.
