V. Bozhko told about exact number of people die because of flooding in Kazakhstan

"There were rumors that we conceal the exact number of people who died in the flooding. We have never concealed the information. There are two people, an elderly couple, who died in Mustafin village. There is one more person who jumped into the river which we consider as a suicide. Thus, an elderly couple is all the people who died because of flooding," V. Bozhko said.

Besides, V. Bozjko told about the damage that was done by the natural disaster.

"The damage is still being calculated. It is going to be high. Pavlodar and East Kazakhstan regions request 800 million tenge each for all the repair works. Karaganda needs about 8-9 billion tenge. Akmola region is going to ask for about the same amount. These are not final figures," the Deputy Minister added.
