V. Bozhko arrived in East Kazakhstan region within working trip

UST-KAMENOGORSK. KAZINFORM - Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan Vladimir Bozhko arrived in East Kazakhstan region within his working trip.

As the Ministry of Internal Affairs informed, the head of the committee for emergency situations will take part in the regional meeting on the results of the year and outline the tasks for the year. Besides, V. Bozhko will visit several companies of the region. During the first day of the trip, he already met with students of the school preparing young rescuers working within the structure of the administration of Ust-Kamenogorsk. "The activity of this type of schools should be developed supported. The work in direction must continue. Children studying there are interested in it. It helps to develop physically, develop patriotism and form moral values. The local administration plays a great role supporting the school and we are going to continue render all-round assistance in this sphere," V. Bozhko said. Head of the regional department for emergency situations Ruslan Nurbatchanov told that the activity of the department for emergency situations of the region was aimed at implementation of strategic tasks on development of the civil protection system. He also emphasized that East Kazakhstan region was the region under a high risk of emergency situations. The previous year wasn't an exception. Over 1900 emergency situations of different nature happened in the region in 2014. 111 people died as a result of those emergencies, but this was a 4.3% reduction compared to 2013. Tomorrow, January 27, V. Bozhko will visit a number of productions, hospital, operations center of the internal affairs department of the East Kazakhstan region, central rescue station and testing laboratory of the department for the emergency situations of the region, the ministry informs.
