Uzbekistan’s specialists study South Korea’s experience in statistics
A delegation from the Statistics Agency under the President of Uzbekistan visited South Korea to explore potential areas of cooperation with Statistics Korea (KOSTAT), UzA reports.
At a meeting at KOSTAT, the Uzbekistan delegation was introduced to the legal framework, national practices, challenges, and shortcomings in statistical activities and South Korea’s advanced experience in data collection, processing, storage, and dissemination.
The delegation also enhanced its knowledge in the field of population registration.
Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to establish bilateral cooperation in key areas such as experience exchange and specialist professional training.
Earlier, it was reported that Uzbekistan and South Korea are to strengthen strategic cooperation in pharmaceuticals.
