Uzbekistan’s exports near $10bn in January-April 2026

Uzbekistan exported nearly 10 billion US dollars worth of goods during the first four months of 2026, the country’s National Statistics Committee said, Qazinform News Agency cites UzA.

Between January and April 2026, exports to Russia totaled 1.5 billion US dollars, accounting for the largest share of Uzbekistan’s overseas sales. China ranked second with 919.6 million US dollars in imports from Uzbekistan, followed by Afghanistan, which received Uzbek goods worth 643.7 million US dollars.

Among European markets, France emerged as a significant trading partner, importing 498.6 million US dollars worth of Uzbek products during the reporting period.

Kazakhstan ranked fifth with imports totaling 425.5 million US dollars, while Türkiye followed with 361.4 million US dollars. The United Arab Emirates purchased 265.5 million US dollars worth of Uzbek exports.

Other major destinations included Kyrgyzstan with 254.2 million US dollars, Tajikistan with 213.3 million US dollars, and the United States, which imported 122.5 million US dollars worth of goods from Uzbekistan.

Earlier, Qazinform reported Kazakhstani businesses are to export goods to the UAE on preferential terms.
