Uzbekistan gathered over 6.6 mln tons of grain

TASHKENT. July 18. KAZINFORM /Rassul Bakhamov/ Agrarian sector plays a key role for Uzbekistan which population numbers 27 mln, taking into consideration that the most part of the population lives in rural areas.
According to Kazinform correspondent, the Uzbek farmers have gathered more than 6 mln 610 thousand tons of grain. Experts say, the country's yield has been increased by 2 centners from hectare and has made 50 centners.
