Uzbek President satisfied with results of talks with N.Nazarbayev

As the Uzbek President noted, "the current visit of the Kazakh delegation to Uzbekistan is considered as an important event in development of the Uzbek-Kazakh mutually beneficial cooperation, as an acknowledgement of our mutual interest in strengthening and extension of multidimensional relations between our states. Today we have analyzed all spectrums of bilateral relations, discussed the situation in Central Asia, and exchanged views on a wide range of problems of international character".

"We stressed importance of close interaction in solving the issues of security that meets strategic interests of both Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. We believe that cooperation in this dimension is one of the key elements in formation of firm system of regional stability and stable development. The issues of settlement of the situation in Afghanistan and regional use of water resources in Central Asia are of special importance within this context", I.Karimov said at the conference after the talks with N. Nazarbayev.
