USD 400 mln to be borrowed for reconstruction of Aktau-Beineu highway
ASTANA. January 13. KAZINFORM /Aigul Tulekbayeva/ Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Massimov urged to complete all procedures on borrowings from the Asian Development Bank aimed at reconstruction of Aktau-Beineu highway.
"It is necessary to complete all the procedures on borrowings for Aktau-Beineu highway as far as it is an important project", K. Massimov has said it today at the extended session of the collegium of the Kazakh Ministry for Transport and Communications.
As Minister of Transport and Communications of Kazakhstan Abelgazy Kussainov reported the Agreement with the ADB will be signed till the end of the year which will let start "full-fledged construction works in 2011".
He also reminded that last year there was reached an agreement on allocation of USD 400 mln for the reconstruction of this highway.
