USD 120 for introduction of new agro technologies in Kazakhstan

ANA.  July 8. KAZINFORM  /Kanat Kulshmanov/    USD 120 mln is to be allocated for the support of science and introduction of new technologies in the agrarian sector of Kazakhstan, Akhylbek Kurishbayev informed at the conference today.

  The Minister reminded of allocation of KZT 2.7 bln for the agriculture development in 2008. This year this figure has been increased to USD 120 mln. These funds will be spent for large research works in agriculture and others sectors of agro-industrial complex and provision of conditions for implementation of science into production.

 "It is important to facilitate realization of innovative projects in the agro-industrial complex based on domestic and foreign scientific achievements with assistance of the local businesmen. KZT 675 mln is envisaged for this purpose in 2009", A. Kurishbayev said.
