USD 1.7 bln invested in non-oil and gas sector of economy in 2010 - D. Turganov

ASTANA. February 22. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ "Preliminary figures indicate the volume of direct foreign investments in non-oil and gas sector made around USD 1.7 bln for 2010," Vice Minister of Industry and New Technologies Duisenbai Turganov said it at the sitting of the Government.
According to him, the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies held 28 events in 2010 in order to promote investment opportunities of Kazakhstan which resulted in signing of 150 bilateral documents on cooperation to the amount of USD 9.6 bln.
