USA observers: Innovations in elections - guarantee of transparency
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - The introduced by the Central Election Commission innovations are a guarantee of transparency of the election process, expert of "Jamestown Foundation" Vlad Socor told at the press conference in Astana.
As V. Socor noted, he together with other observers visited more than 30 electoral districts where he saw well organized election process.
"We could see a high level of transparency of the elections. It became possible thanks to the introduced innovations. It particular, the innovation is in counting of votes by non-governmental organizations. We see that there is an agreement between the Central Election Commission and non-governmental organizations, and it is an important part of the election process. They will have a website for communication with people as well. This is a guarantee of transparency," he added.
