US unemployment hits 9.7%

WASHINGTON. September 5. KAZINFORM /Aliya Altyngazina/ Unemployment rate in the USA hit record high since 1983 - 9.7%.
According to the Department of Labor, over the last month the US economy lost 216, 000 jobs - the lowest index in the current year. 276, 000 people lost jobs in July.
Despite the signs of the economic recovery, the experts do not expect employment growth. The Federal Reserve System of the USA forecasts 10% unemployment by the yearend.
