US northeast, New York bracing for more snowfall

ASTANA. January 12. KAZINFORM The northeastern United States was preparing for at least 30 centimetres of snowfall Tuesday night after the southeastern part of the country endured storms that closed some major roadways and backed up air traffic. Kazinform refers to Trend News.
US media reported that Boston was expecting up to 40 centimetres of snow while New York would receive as much as 30 centimetres.
The southern states have been bombarded with heavy snow since the weekend, leaving hundreds of passengers stranded. The major international airport in Atlanta, Georgia has been forced to cancel more than 3,400 flights, CNN reported. Kazinform cites Trend News. See www.en.trend.az
