US Congress delegation visited Majilis
ASTANA. January 31 KAZINFORM On January 29, the U.S. Congress delegation visited Kazakh Majilis, the press-service of the Majilis informed.
Topical issues of inter-parliamentary cooperation were discussed in the conversation with chairman of the Majilis Committee on Foreign Affairs, Defence and Security Maulen Ashimbaev. Special attention was paid to the issues of regional security, in particular on the situation in Afghanistan.
The same day, the delegation met with head of the Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation "Kazakhstan - USA" Gulmira Isinbayeva. The sides covered a wide range of issues of further deepening and expansion of inter-parliamentary relations.
Majilisman Kamal Burkhanov and head of department of the Majilis Satbek Shalbaev attended the meeting.
