Urgent to find new forms of cultural and humanitarian coop in CIS: Kazakh Ambassador to Russia

MOSCOW. July 28. KAZINFORM /Narymbek Ismagulov/ Implementation of particular practical affairs on the basis of new approaches is one of the main conditions for successful international humanitarian cooperation in the CIS.

Kazakh Ambassador to Russia Zautbek Turisbekov made it public at a meeting with Director of the Federal Agency for CIS Affairs, Compatriots Abroad and International Humanitarian Cooperation (Rossotrudnichestvo) Farit Mukhametshin in Moscow on Tuesday.

The interlocutors discussed topical issues on the international humanitarian cooperation. Farit Mukhametshin informed on the process of implementation of the Interstate Target Program on Innovative Cooperation among the CIS member states for the period up to 2020 and the work of the Rossotrudnichestvo within the program on rendering assistance to world development.

The head of the Kazakh mission laid emphasis on the necessity of search for and realization of new forms and approaches of cultural and humanitarian rapprochement of peoples of the CIS noting the significance of particular practical affairs. He mentioned as an instance the initiative of the Kazakh Embassy to build a memorial to Kazakh warriors of the 100th and 101st rifle brigades in Rzhev town.

The project on modernization of two Moscow schools named after heroes of the Soviet Union Aliya Moldagulova and Bauyrzhan Momyshuly is no less important in the year of the 65th anniversary of the Great Victory and the Year of Teachers in Russia. To date under the auspices of the Kazakh businessmen the schools are equipped with modern teaching and training equipment - furniture, computers, interactive boards, books of Kazakhstani authors, sport equipment.

The sides also discussed the issues of food security within the CIS, opening of "Kazakhstanskaya" subway station in Moscow, and "Moscowskaya" subway station in constructed Almaty subway. They addressed prospects of reconstruction of Kazakhstan's pavilion as a big Kazakh cultural and business center in the All-Russia Exhibition Center as well.
