URGENT: Terrorist killed in Kyzylorda
ASTANA. December 29. KAZINFORM On December 29 law enforcement authorities with the involvement of special forces "Arystan" of National Security Committee of Kazakhstan carried out an operation to arrest Erik Ayazbayev, born in 1971, one of the leaders of the terrorist group of Agzhan Hasen, press service of the Kazakh Prosecutor General's Office reported.
As reported earlier, Agzhan Hasen and several members of the terrorist group were killed by police officers because they showed active armed resistance during their arrest on December 3, 2011 in the village Boraldai, Ili district, Almaty region.
Ayazbayev was captured in Kyzylorda. Ayazbayev refused to surrender and began shooting at police officers, who killed him with return fire.
There is no threat to the civilian population.
