As was reported earlier, Vladislav Chelakh was detained a couple of days ago and is suspected of murdering his comrade-in-arms at Arkankergen border outpost.

"We have had a visit of the representative of the Prosecutor General's Office today. He collected Vlad's photos where he was depicted with his fellow military men. He also was at his school and college where he got letters of recommendation from Vlad's teachers," the old man said.

According to Vlamidir Chelakh, the teachers spoke very highly of Vlad. They said he was a steady young man, even-tempered, independent and dedicated.

"We have asked for a permission to see Vlad. Unfortunately, it is impossible until the end of investigation," V. Chelakh added.

Vladimir Chelakh also said a lot of people sympathized with their family. "We have had hundreds of telephone calls. People do not believe that Vladislav could commit a crime like that," he noted. Border guard's grandfather says he wants to comment the situation with his grandson at "Pust Govoryat" talk show, a popular talk show on Channel One, Russia.

Vladislav Chelakh's relatives say it has been his dream of a lifetime to be a military man and protect the borders of his Motherland. His letters to his family from the border outpost are full of joy and pride.

Vladislav is the eldest in his family. He has a younger sister and a brother. He was born on October 8, 1992 in Karaganda. He went to school #54. Vladislav entered a college to study Banking and Finance in June 2011. In November 2011 he was called in to serve in the army.
