Unique exhibition of kimono will take place in Astana
ASTANA. August 25. KAZINFORM - In Astana, September 6, will open a unique exhibition of kimono of Japanese master Itiku Kubota, informs astana.kz referring to the press service of the Palace of Independence.
The exhibition "The world through the eyes of the Master. Itiku Kubota kimono" includes a collection which in 2010 was acquired by the well-known entrepreneur and philanthropist Fattah Chodiev to save it from being sold in parts, and save it for world culture.
Each kimono represented in the collection is a work of art. If you combine a number of kimono together, they will form a single sheet, and a special landscape.
The collection will be demonstrated for the first time to the public in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The press conference on the opening of the exhibition will be attended by the entrepreneur, philanthropist and founder of the International Fund of Chodiev Mr. Shodiev Fattah, a representative of the Embassy of Japan in the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Itiku Kubota museum's director and representatives of Astana akimat.
