Unique electronic course on int'l migration law to be presented in Kazakhstan

ALMATY. December 21. KAZINFORM - International Organization for Migration (IOM) in collaboration with the Commission on Human Rights under the Kazakh President and the Interior Ministry begins the electronic course titled "International Migration Law".

Presentation of the course will be held on December 23 this year ay Police Academy in Karaganda and December 25 at Police Academy in Almaty.

E-course is designed based on the IOM standard training program of the same name and at the same time, and it has been adapted for practitioners in Kazakhstan - employees of state agencies, ministries and agencies dealing with migration issues, NGO activists, students, teachers and anyone interested in the topic.

At the presentation the speeches will be made ​​by the head of the IOM mission in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan Deyan Keserovich, program manager for Migration, IOM Regional Office (Vienna) Vasily Yuzhanin, members of the Commission on Human Rights under the President.

Active participation in the development of this coursehas been taken by the IOM mission in Kazakhstan and IOM regional office for South-Eastern Europe, Eastern Europe and Central Asia in the framework of the project "Assistance in the implementation of national policies for the protection of migrants' rights and strengtheing the capacity of national partners in the field of migration". It was funded by the International Development Fund for IOM.
