UNIDO Head highly appraises Kazakh Government's activities on supporting stability of country's economy in crisis

ASTANA. February 16. KAZINFORM Director-General of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) Kandeh K. Yumkella highly appraised the Kazakh Government's activities on supporting stability of the country's economy in the crisis period, integration and industrial-innovative initiatives for ensuring economic growth.

Kazakhstan's experience in this regard can serve as a good example for developing countries, he noted at the meeting in Vienna with Permanent Representative of Kazakhstan to the International Organizations in Vienna Yerzhan Kazykhanov; the Kazakh MFA's press service informs.

The UNIDO Director-General congratulated Kazakhstan on his first election to the Industrial development Board for 2010-2013 and chairmanship in the OSCE, expressed satisfaction with dynamics of cooperation development in 2009.

Y.Kazykhanov informed the head of the international organization of industrial-innovative priorities in the Message of President Nursultan Nazarbayev "New Decade - New Economic Growth - New Opportunities of Kazakhstan", latest tendencies in the Kazakh economy development, the Customs Union establishment.

It was noted that Kazakhstan plans to reach stable growth of economy by the forced industrialization and development of infrastructure within the framework of the State Program on the Forced Industrial Innovative Development for 2010-2014.
