UNESCO Director-General to visit Kazakhstan

ASTANA. May 28. KAZINFORM UNESCO "UNESCO Director-General Irina Bokova will meet on May 28-31 in Astana with President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, Senate Speaker Kairat Mami, Foreign Affairs Minister Yerzhan Kazykhanov and Astana Mayor Imangali Tasmagambetov," official spokesperson of the Kazakh MFA Altai Abibullayev told a briefing.
"UNESCO Director-General Irina Bokova will pay her first official visit to Kazakhstan on May 28-31 to attend the IV Congress of Leaders of the World and Traditional Religions. This year Kazakhstan and UNSECO mark the 20th anniversary since establishment of relations," he added.
