Unemployment rate in Kazakhstan made 5% in April

"The number of unemployed people in April 2015 was 455.6 thousand and the level of unemployment equaled 5%. 63.8 thousand people were officially registered in the employment bodies as of April 2015. The share of registered unemployed people made 0.7% of the economically active population," the statement reads.

8.6 million people were employed in the economy of the country at the end of April 2015. The number unemployed people grew by 48.6 thousand people or 0.6% compared to the same period of the previous year.
