Under pessimistic scenario Kazakhstan's GDP to grow by 3-4% - Kelimbetov

ASTANA. September 26. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ Under the pessimistic development scenario Kazakhstan's GDP will grow by 3-4 percent. Minister of Economic Development and Trade Kairat Kelimbetov made it public at a roundtable in the Majilis on Monday.

According to him, Kazakhstan will sustain economic growth even if the world oil prices fall below USD 40.

The predicted level of oil prices for the pessimistic scenario is USD 60-40 per barrel. A special "Plan B" has been developed for such a situation.
