UN Sec Gen called for GA ICAPP participants to focus on democratization of society
ASTANA. September 25. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon sent video address to the participants of the V General Assembly of the International Conference of Asian Political Parties in which he called for the Asian political parties to focus their efforts on democratization of the society and provision of right of citizens.
"I appeal you to focus efforts on realization of needs of citizens, it is necessary to respect their democratic rights", B.Ki-moon said.
"The International Conference of Asian political Parties strengthens cooperation of Asian political parties, unites different cultures and builds trust between countries. In this context it is necessary to establish global solidarity between parties, aimed at solution of issues of poverty and people's rights", UN Secretary General noted.
