Ukraine, Kazakhstan share common stance on many issues: Ukrainian FM
ASTANA. October 15. KAZINFORM First Vice Prime Minister - Minister of Regional Development of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev met with current OSCE chairman and Foreign Affairs Minister of Ukraine Leonid Kozhara in Astana yesterday, the press service of the ministry reports.
During the meeting the sides touched upon the prospects of bilateral cooperation between Kazakhstan and Ukraine and discussed current situation in the OSCE.
Minister Sagintayev noted that relations between Kazakhstan and Ukraine have grown exponentially in the atmosphere of mutual trust and understanding. Kiev is an important political and economic partner in the CIS and Europe. "Thanks to constructive dialogue, our countries have reached a brand new level of bilateral cooperation," he added.
According to Mr. Kozhara, Ukraine and Kazakhstan share common stance on many problems of regional and international agenda. The countries continue to develop all-round cooperation by singing bilateral documents and exchanging official visits.
The sides also exchanged views on a wide array of issues on the international agenda during the meeting in Astana.
