According to the 4 Day Week Foundation, this measure is particularly widespread in the marketing, advertising and public relations sectors (30 companies), followed by charities and NGOs (29), technology and (24) and business consultancy (22).

London companies are the most involved, with 59 registrations.

Joe Ryle, the foundation’s campaign director, said: “The five-day workweek, invented a hundred years ago, is no longer adequate. With 50 percent more free time, a four-day workweek allows people to live happier and more fulfilled lives.”

Earlier Kazinform reported that Kazakhstan and the UK discussed broadening bilateral strategic partnership.
