U.S., Kazakhstan to maintain regional, global security - John Kerry
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry has extended his congratulations to Nursultan Nazarbayev on the occasion of his election as the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the president's press service reports.
John Kerry extended his best wishes to President Nazarbayev on the beginning of his new tenure. In the congratulatory message, the U.S. politician says that his country hopes to work together with the Government and people of Kazakhstan in the sphere of security, welfare, human rights, development of democratic and independent institutes, civil society in Kazakhstan and in the region. "The U.S. is ready to work with Kazakhstan as a strategic partner in maintaining regional and global security and in the sphere of nuclear non-proliferation," the congratulatory telegram reads.
