She said the money would mainly be spent on assistance to Pakistanis who have been forced from their homes by Taliban activity. More than 2 million residents have fled their homes since the start of the operation. Pakistan's population is over 160 million. The United Nations has called on all states to render humanitarian aid to Pakistani refugees.
