U. Mukhamedzhanov meets members of Commission for Cooperation between Majilis and State Duma
MOSCOW. March 25. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ Chairman of the Lower House of the Kazakh Parliament Ural Mukhamedzhanov has met today with members of the Inter-Chamber Parliamentary Commission for Cooperation between the Majilis and State Duma of the Federal Assembly of Russia.
At the meeting the Speaker touched upon the issues of realization of the President's Address to the Nation, chairmanship of Kazakhstan in the OSCE and highlighted importance of the OSCE Summit which is planned to be held in Astana this year.
U. Mukhamedzhanov also stressed importance of implementation of inter-state agreements within the Customs Union.
In turn, co-Chairman of the Commission from the Russian side Oleg Savchenko expressed confidence that the Customs Union would be established fully soon and would promote mutually beneficial cooperation among the member countries and their successful economic development.
