Two Russians arrested for smuggling 2t of vodka

ASTANA. KAZINFORM -Two citizen of Russian Federation have been arrested for allegedly importing spirits across the Kazakh-Russian border, the press service of the frontier service reports.
The citizen of the Russian Federation, 23, tried to smuggle 780 liters of alcohol in his GAZel minivan from Kazakhstan to his home country.
The second detainee, 35, was caught with 1230 liters of vodka worth KZT 1 million 230 thousand. He was driving his Mercedes car from Kazakhstan to Russia.
Investigation has been launched.
