Two policemen die in icy crash in Karaganda region

KARAGANDA. KAZINFORM - Two police officers have been killed in a tragic road accident in Karaganda region on Sunday.
The accident occurred on the Karaganda-Botakora highway at 8:00 p.m. on December 7. The policemen were traveling in VAZ-21102 car, when one of them lost control of the vehicle and crossed into the oncoming lane. The VAZ car crashed into Volkswagen Passat vehicle and both men died right away. Paramedics treated the Volkswagen Passat driver for minor injuries at the scene. The police say that slippery road is to blame for the accident.
