Two plants producing heat-insulating materials to be built in Karaganda rgn

The round table discussed the prospects for the implementation of the investment project, involving the construction of plants for the production of heat-insulating materials based on mineral insulation of basalt fiber and extruded polystyrene, on the territory of "Saryarka" special economic zone. According to the investment project, "TechnoNIKOL" company will invests 2 billion rubles ($47 662 000) in the construction of the plant with the capacity of 80 thousand tons of products per year and 550 million rubles ($13 107 050) in the construction of the plant producing extruded polystyrene, with the capacity of 300 thousand cubic meters of goods per year. The project is planned to be commissioned in 2014-2016. The launch of two new plants will create 285 new jobs. Karaganda region's administration supported the proposals of the investor. Following the meeting the parties have signed an appropriate memorandum.
