Two people killed in plane crash in central Russia

MOSCOW. June 8. KAZINFORM Two men were killed as a private Piper plane crashed in the central Russian Vladimir Region, the Emergencies Ministry reported; Kazinform refers to RIA Novosti.

The plane that belonged to one of the victims fell onto a field on Tuesday evening. The reasons for the crash are unknown yet.

"The aircraft did not catch fire and no fuel leaked," the ministry said, adding that the distance between the accident site and the nearest inhabited locality was about 1km.

No other details were immediately available. An investigation is underway; Kazinform cites RIA Novosti.
