Two films made by

The "Student" by Darezhana Omirbayeva and "Zhauzhurek Myn Bala" by Akan Satayev. Both films were immediately acquired by international distributors for global release. The German Media Luna New Films Company acquired "Student" and "Zhauzhurek Myn Bala" was taken by the Canadian 108 Media Company. "The film "Student" did really impress us. It is an honour to present it internationally," Development Director of Media Luna New Films, Alessandro Lombardo, said. President of 108 Media, Nathaniel Warch, in turn noted that "this project has a big potential, and was created perfectly," the Kazakh MFA's press service said.
