Two died, seven injured in three road accidents in Karaganda oblast
KARAGANDA. June 14. KAZINFORM /Valentina Yelizarova/ Three road-traffic accidents have been recorded in Karaganda oblast over the last weekend. Two people died and seven got injuries as a result, the regional emergencies department informs.
The first accident took place on the 987 km of Kyzylorda-Pavlodar highway of Bukhar Zhyrau district as Audi-80 and Mitsubishi cars smashed into each other. As a result, a driver and three passengers of Mitsubishi, 18-20 aged young people, were taken to a local hospital with various traumas.
The second road tragedy occurred on the 738 km of Almaty-Yekaterinburg highway, near Akzhal village of Shet district. A 15-year-old girl died and two passengers, females, were injured as Toyota-Camry turned over.
One more accident was registered in Satpayev town, at the crossroad of Erden and Kussainov streets. Two cars - Mercedes-200 and VAZ-2101 - collided into each other, following which a passenger of the second car died at the scene. Driver of VAZ-2101 was taken to a municipal hospital.
