Twenty five injured as Tajik police building hit by car bomb

DUSHANBE. September 3. KAZINFORM Twenty five people were seriously injured when a suspected suicide car bomb hit a police building in Tajikistan's second largest city of Khujand on Friday, an Interior Ministry spokesman said; Kazinform refers to RIA Novosti.

"A car packed with explosives crashed through the right part of the building," the spokesman said.

The blast completely destroyed this section of the offices, which housed the headquarters of the local organized crime department, the Interior Ministry said.

There is no information on the driver of the vehicle involved; Kazinform cites RIA Novosti.
