Twenty die as boat capsizes in Pakistan

NEW DELHI. October 18. KAZINFORM At least twenty students drowned in Pakistan on Monday night when a motor boat carrying 50 students capsized near Sahiwal in the northeast of the country, media reported; Kazinform refers to RIA Novosti.
The boat turned over in a canal feeding the river Ravi. The canal was not wide but had steep banks and a muddy bottom, according to local press reports.
The cause of the accident has not yet been identified. A search operation has found at least 20 bodies so far; Kazinform cites RIA Novosti.
