Turkmenistan evaluates Kazakhstan's OSCE chairmanship as confidence in country and whole region
HKENT. September 25. KAZINFORM /Kurmat Samarkhan/ Turkmenistan evaluates Kazakhstan's chairmanship in the OSCE in 2010 as confidence in the country and the whole region. Turkmen Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Uzbekistan Soltan Pirmukhamedov has announced it at a roundtable in the Turkmen diplomatic representation in Uzbekistan.
According to him, the problems voiced at the roundtable are a subject of unfailing interest. In this connection, it is necessary to take measures for their implementation. "It requires efforts coordination of the OSCE member-states. Because of it we will bring the information to our states, leaders to help Kazakhstan in difficult issues solution which Kazakhstan will face in 2010. We know Kazakhstan's potential, its opportunities", S.Pirmukhamedov noted.
"I evaluate it as big confidence in the country and the whole region. Kazakhstan is the closest neighbor and strategic partner for all countries of the region", he emphasized.
As the diplomat noted, Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan have many promising projects in the oil and gas, transport and other aspects of the economic sector and humanitarian sphere. "I think that we will do our best to promote expansion of cooperation with the OSCE member-states, the closest neighbors and with Kazakhstan. I am confident that it will be useful not only for Kazakhstan, but for whole region", the diplomat added.
"We are ready to support positive initiatives of Kazakhstan and other OSCE member-state, if they will meet our interests and our neutral status", the Ambassador noted.
