"Kazakhstan is not only the country populated by nearly 17 million people. It is also the gates to the Customs Union member countries, that is 170 million potential consumers. Kazakhstan also borders on the Central Asian republics and China. Given that, we can offer you access to the neighboring countries with population of over 500 million," Mr. Khairov said.

In his words, Kazakhstan, in its turn, considers Turkey as the gates to the European Union.

Mr. Khairov also urged Turkish businessmen to be more active in Kazakhstan.

The business forum arranged by Sberbank Kazakhstan took place at the Rixos President Hotel in the Kazakh capital.
