Turkic-speaking states must be bridge between Europe and Asia: Kazakh President

HCHIVAN. October 3. KAZINFORM /Yernur Akanbai/ "The Turkic-speaking State must be a bridge between Europe and Asia", Kazakh President N.Nazarbayev has said today at the IX Summit of the Heads of Turkic-speaking Sates in Azerbaijan.
The Head of the State noted that Kazakhstan follows the policy of maintenance of multifaceted partnership within the European and Asian structures.
"It is specially important in regard to the coming Kazakhstan's OSCE chairmanship in 2010, the OIC chairmanship in 2011 and realization of "Path to Europe" program and promotion of the dialogue between the Muslim world and West", he said.
