Turkic-speaking countries can establish free trade zone
BAKU. July 29. KAZINFORM - The issue of Turkic-speaking states' free trade zone creation will be discussed during the Summit of the states' presidents, which will be held in Azerbaijan on 15-16 August the current year.
This was announced by Ramil Hasanov, the Secretary-General of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic-speaking countries (TurkPA). According to his words, this question is on the agenda.
"If the executive heads of the states make a general solution for the topic, TurkPA will take concrete steps for its legalization", said Hasanov.
It bears to remind that the committee's meeting on TurkPA's economy, trade and finance, held this year, has negotiated on the points concernng the abolition of customs duties between structure's member-states as well as free economic zones' project establishment.
Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic-speaking Countries (TÜRKPA) was established on November 21, 2008, according to the Agreement signed by the Heads of parliaments of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Republic of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Turkey in the «Dolmabakhche Saray» located in Istanbul city, Republic of Turkey.
The TÜRKPA Secretariat is the authority located in the capital of the Republic of Azerbaijan Baku city and has the status of international organization.
