Turkey's police make 22 arrests after Russian tourists poisoning

ANKARA. June 8. KAZINFORM Turkey's police made 22 arrests and seized 7,000 bottles with bootleg alcohol investigating a mass alcohol poisoning of Russian tourists vacating in Turkey, according to the Turkish state news agency Anatolia; Kazinform refers to Itar-Tass.
Police found a storage facility with thousands of bootleg bottles and special equipment in Mersin, southeast Turkey.
The incident took place in the Turkish resort city of Bodrum after a yacht voyage organized by Russia's Mostravel tourist company on May 26-27. Four Russian women died and another 19 Russian citizens fell ill after being served tainted alcohol onboard.
