Turkey's CICA presidency extended for two more years

ISTANBUL. April 7. KAZINFORM Turkey's presidency of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA) has been extended for another two years, a press statement issued by the Foreign Ministry stated on Friday.
Turkey was appointed to the presidency by member countries at a conference held in İstanbul in June 2010. The statement said Turkey's presidency has been extended until 2014 upon a proposal put forth by Kazakhstan and agreed to by the other member countries, TODAY'S ZAMAN said.
