Turkey and Kazakhstan sign Torgai thermal power plant construction memo

ASTANA. KAZINFORM Turkey's Eren Enerji Elektrik Üretim A.S. and Tau Ken Samruk National Ore Mining Company of Kazakhstan have signed a memo of understanding on cooperation in the Torgai thermal power plant construction project.
The project is being realized in an effort to solve infrastructure issues under the country's fuel and energy complex development concept until 2030. It also foresees joint realization of the thermal power plant construction project on the ground of the Kushmurun coal deposit in the Kostanay region. Now Eren Enerji company is working at its pre-feasibility study.
