Tripartite agr't on establishment of Kazakh-French educational center in energy signed
ALMATY. June 4. KAZINFORM/Aygul Turysbekova/ The French Ministry of Education, Schneider Electric Kazakhstan ltd. and K. Satpayev Kazakh National Technical University have signed a tripartite agreement on establishment of a Kazakh-French educational center in energy, electric engineering and technical service of automated systems in Almaty on Friday.
«Today we can say that one of the items of bilateral agreements signed during the visit of French President Nicolas Sarcozy to Kazakhstan has been realized. Training the highly-qualified staff for high-technological spheres is one of the state priorities of Kazakhstan. It is no wonder that we have chosen the Satpayev Kazakh National University. This higher educational institution is famous for worthy scientific staff and rich material-technical base. We are ready to develop our cooperation in this sphere», Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of France to Kazakhstan, Mr. Jean-Charles Berthonnet said.
According to a representative of Schneider Electric Kazakhstan ltd, the company has been functioning in Kazakhstan for more than seven years." Our company is responsible for delivery of up-to-date teaching and laboratory equipment. Training domestic labor forces is one of the priorities of our business in Kazakhstan. I am sure that specialists trained in this center will be in demand at the labor market", he stressed.
Rector of the Satpayev KazNTU Zheksenbek Adilov said the parties had performed huge preparatory work on including this item into the agreement. "The French side has conducted a thorough monitoring of our opportunities; various administrative barriers have been removed. The French Ministry of Education, Schneider Electric Company and our University invest huge funds in this projects. The tutors of the Center will pass special training courses, and the teaching process will be based on modern and innovative educational programs that will allow the university training highly qualified professionals meeting all international standards ", the Rector said.
