Treaty on Eurasian Economic Union to boost economic development in Kazakhstan, Russia and Belarus - Sagintayev

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - First Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev has taken part in the meeting of the Council of Eurasian Economic Commission, which discussed the issues of preparation of a draft treaty on Eurasian Economic Union, Kazinform refers to primeminister.kz.

"The draft treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union has been prepared. The next step is conducting internal procedures. In addition, the draft treaty will be translated into the state language in preparation for the signing of the Heads of State at the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council that will be held on May 29 this year in Astana," Sagintaev said after the meeting in Moscow.

In general, according to the First Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, the treaty will give additional impetus to mutually beneficial, equitable economic development of Kazakhstan, Russia and Belarus, including in areas such as transport, energy, agriculture, and will contribute to the development of fair competition in the common market.

"Our joint work is a good indication of the high level of integration between our countries, our commitment to the efficient use of equal partnership relations," Sagintayev concluded.
