Transport ministers debated draft Eurasian Economic Union Treaty
ASTANA. KAZINFORM Transport Ministers of the Customs Union and Single Economic Space, also Kyrgyz and Armenian Ministers convened in Moscow on December 5 to debate transport issues of the draft Eurasian Economic Union Treaty under the chairmanship of Daniyal Akhmetov, member o the energy and infrastructure board of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU).
Academician Viktor Ivanter presented there a research work themed Transport policy of the Single Economic Space until 2020. As Akhmetov stressed, the research results may lay foundation for the future policy paper of the Eurasian Economic Commission on the coordinated transport policy. Besides, those gathered discussed realization of the agreement on access to railway services, agreement on transport control on the CU external borders, draft Roadmap concerning the common Eurasian sky borders, etc. The next meeting is set for May-June, 2015.
