Transfer of sentenced persons between Kazakhstan, Italy reviewed by Senate

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Senate, the upper chamber of the Kazakh Parliament, has reviewed the bill on ratification of the Treaty between Kazakhstan and Italy on the transfer of sentenced persons today.
The document was reviewed at the enlarged session of the Committee for constitutional legislation, court system and law-enforcement agencies of the upper chamber. The treaty regulates possible transfers of sentenced persons between the two countries in order to serve the sentence imposed on them. Kazakhstan signed analogous treaties with Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, China, Turkey, Spain and Hungary.
