Trade turnover b/w Russia and Kazakhstan totaled $14 billion
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Trade turnover between Russia and Kazakhstan for 8 eight months of 2014 amounted to $14 billion, this has been announced at today's business mission of the Udmurt Republic by Russia's trade representative in Kazakhstan Alexander Yakovlev.
According to his words, 2013 became an important milestone in the development of Russian-Kazakh trade and economic relations. Over the year, the trade turnover of Kazakhstan in Russia ranked 11th among all Russian trade partners, and Russia held the first place in the trade turnover of Kazakhstan with other countries. According to the Federal Customs Service, the trade turnover in 2013 amounted to $26.5 billion and an increase by 3%. For 8 months of the current year the trade turnover between Russia and Kazakhstan amounted to about $14 billion. The business mission was attended by leaders of 11 major enterprises of the Udmurt Republic, Russian Federation, the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Astana, as well as small and medium businesses.
