Trade turnover b/w N Kazakhstan and CU reaches $367 million
PETROPAVLOVSK. KAZINFORM - Since the beginning of 2014 the trade turnover between the countries of the Customs Union and North Kazakhstan region has amounted to $367 million, reported the press service of the regional Department of Statistics.
"Since the beginning of the year the turnover of mutual trade with the Customs Union countries amounted to $367.3 million, which is 36.4% less than in the same period of 2013, including export - $29.9 million (39.3% ), import - $337.4 million (36.1%)," the reports says. North Kazakhstan region exports products of animal and vegetable origin, prepared food products, and metals and metal products. Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus mainly import mineral products, machinery, equipment, vehicles, tools and equipment, products of animal and vegetable origin, prepared foodstuffs, products of the chemical and related industries (including plastics), as well as metals and metal products.
